While this book doesn't recognize food combining, it's an invaluable tool for creating alternatives to bottled salad dressings, instant puddings, spice mixes, etc. You'll often have to substitute nondairy milk for dairy milk in a pudding, soy flour for wheat flour in a gravy, nondairy cheese for dairy cheese, but once you have a cookbook with a recipe for almost every dish known to man you'll wonder how you ever got along without it.
